Supporting everyday routines

This Honors project by Semhar Hailu, under my supervision, explores a mobile application intended to support daily routines and independence for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

A design question first

The work considers visual routines, a clear interface and different levels of presentation complexity. The implementation uses React Native, Expo and Firebase.

Project in development

The application and its evaluation are still being developed. The project is an opportunity to connect software design, accessibility and thoughtful user research; it is not presented as a clinically validated intervention.
